This engagement session was shot a few days before the winter snow came to Salt Lake City to settled in for a long winters nap. We usually have a calm before the storm and this day was specifically mild. Which made it absolutely fantastic for ME! Maddie was in heels and a dress and it didn’t seem to bother her.
Oh man… I wish our winters were a little more mild here. It’s COLD here in Utah! I guess I’ve had a busier than normal winter wedding season.
I’m getting distracted… on with the show.
Dallin and Maddie…
They are literally the most perfect couple. They’re darling, polite, genuine, beautiful, nicely dressed, and best of all… they’re photogenic. 🙂 I know. I’m such a lucky duck!
Their outfits were perfect for our location. Speaking of… I shot this at the State Capitol. You wouldn’t guess it was shot there because I didn’t want this session to look like I had photographed it at any specific location. I wanted it to be more about the couple and their expressions. It turned out exactly how I had imagined. It’s so interesting how I can see a cute little street in Salt Lake lined with green ivy and know that it will photograph so awesome. To the naked eye it was kind of… whatever. But once my Nikkor 1.4 mm lens came on scene… All bets were off.
Oh my goodness I’m such a weirdo.
Well… That’s all I’ll say for now.
Thanks for reading!
