If I had a choice to do it all over again, I’d have my wedding celebrations at La Caille Restaurant. Nothing else can compare to the gorgeousness and jaw dropping scenery than La Caille. Free range peacocks, swans gracing the ponds, a romantic vineyard, all of this with an old world Tuscan theme. I feel like I’ve stepped into Europe when I photograph their lovely land.
I was over the moon excited with Mary called and told me she was eloping with her beau Denver. Maybe you recognize Mary from the pages of Utah Valley Bride magazine. She’s been a model for the bridal spreads a few times and even gracing the cover of one of the magazines. Frankly she’s gorgeous and I love her.
I photographed this elopement in October, and I’ve been waiting to post it until today… Why do you ask? Well… Mary and Denver were scheduled to be sealed in the Salt Lake Temple today (May 30th). I had their wedding booked. I was so excited. THRILLED! I got a call last week from the mother of the bride saying that they needed to postpone the wedding until October which is a year from when they eloped. Not gonna lie. I was devastated. I had been looking forward to her designer Jenny Packham gown and their gorgeous faces for months! I also had turned down at least 10 weddings that day. BUT it’s ok. I went through the 8 stages of grief (are there 8 stages of grief?) and I moved on. I had an amazing day with my family and I can’t wait for an Autumnal wedding. 🙂
I still can’t wait to show off these images… so here they are! The gorgeous elopement of Denver and Mary.
