Nate and Kaelynn’s romantically rainy bridals

We chanced it.
The clouds were rolling in, and we went for it
When it comes to rescheduling a bridal session, it’s not just my calendar the bride needs to coordinate with. It’s her makeup artist’s, hair artist, and the floral designer. Not to mention the groom!
So it’s not an easy task to just say… ‘Let’s wait until tomorrow to see what the weather does’
So we went for it.
And I’m SO happy we did! I loved the umbrella (which we borrowed from another wedding on the Salt Lake Temple grounds). Those photos are 100% my fav!
I loved working with Krissi Cook of @krissicookfilms. She’s darling and I felt like we moved around each other like a dance. Bravo lady friend!
The rain made everything glisten. The sidewalks too on a life of their own. It also made the sidewalks very slippery which I found out the hard way. EEK!
I slipped and fell on my toosh, and in the midst of it all I lost my shoe. But I didn’t falter. The sun was breaking through the clouds so I continued to shoot without a shoe. #dedication

Nate and Kaelynn are absolutely darling. Their wedding reception is tonight and I can’t wait! BUT please say a prayer that the rain will stay away. Just for tonight. 🙂

Thanks Nate and Kaelynn for being so dang fabulous!
