Scott and Britney – a grand bridal session

The Grand America was an obvious choice for Scott and Britney’s bridal session. Their reception would be held there, and I wanted to take advantage of the stunning grounds. The only sad thing about this session was that the weather wasn’t cooperating. The wind was angry and it was weather was chilly. This spring season has had very few nice days to work with. Scott and Britney were all stars. They smiled and laughed through it. This session was 3 hours long! Usually my sessions are around 2 hours. We had to explore every piece of this GRAND hotel making this session longer than most.

Jaw dropping… Nancy Barrus of Avenia Bridal made this custom gown.
It fit Britney perfectly. It showed her slender figure and then exploded from the knees with fabulous fluffy tulle.
Her bouquet was perfection. – Alex and Natalie with The Petal Coop. @thepetalcoop – I loved the color choices and the shape of the bouquet. So stunning.
Despite the cold and the wind… we were able to capture some fantastic images. Thanks you two for letting me hang out with you! Oh, I’m working on your wedding images this week… They look so great! What a fun wedding you put on. 🙂

This was so darling! Britney was on the other side of the window waiting for her queue to come outside for the first look.

HAHAHAHA! I asked them to step off of the ledge they were standing on and Scott grabbed Britney and took her off. SO CUTE! Her facial expression is darling!

‘Mom can you take the bouquet for a second?’ – Scott’s got this! He just tossed it to her. The fear on Britney’s face…

Springtime at The Grand.

This is one of my favorites.

That veil! It wouldn’t stay in!

Loved this session. Love this couple.
