Chris and Morgan- what my wedding would look like

This is exactly what my wedding would look like. Calie Rose Floral and Design is amazing. I love the way that she arranges bouquets and floral arrangements with such soft preciousness. She’s my most favorite! I loved the decor. I don’t know who did the decor, but I want them at all of my weddings. So many great details and such fabulous style…
NOW… what happens when you wake up with the stomach flu? If you’re a stay at home mom, you ask a friend to take your kids, or put a movie on and give them a couple of cereal boxes to snack on. If you have a full time job, then you take a sick day… Well… when your a professional wedding photographer, and you wake up with the stomach flu. You just pray your face off that you don’t throw up in front of them. Oh man… So bad… So bad..
BUT! I am amazing and pulled it together to get some fabulous shots. After I shot at the temple, I went to my car in the underground parking lot of the LDS Conference Center and slept in the backseat for 2 hours. If you know me, you know that I can’t sleep on an air mattress, a pull out bed, or even a normal mattress. I have a tempurpedic mattress. It’s delicious and I love it, and I can’t sleep on anything else. So this shows how horribly ill I was.
I still wasn’t doing well at the reception, so I sent out an SOS to my photo friends. They called a couple of their friends and I found someone who was local and could come help me with the rest of the reception. I was really proud that I was able to photograph the important parts of the day, and I’m guessing it’s because I had adrenaline running through my veins. Usually Greg (husband) is my back up, but he was shooting an engagement session. We rarely double book ourselves, so it’s just so ironic. In all, I got some really great shots. I obviously wanted to post as many as possible. So have fun scrolling!!!!
P.S. Chris and Morgan… you and your darling families are precious to me! I hope you love these!

Chris was so proud of his train making skills.

I wanted them to gather the wildlife so they could be in the photos too… really, I just wanted to get some hilarious photos like this one.
Then I just told them to get in a photo and to hurry before the duckies ran away. It’s so random, two bridesmaids and the bride and groom. So good..

These boys were not havin’ it.
