Garrett and Merilee
It has been such a treat to photograph these two. I have loved each session and I LOVE their entire family. I can't believe it's already over. :( Merilee put such a sweet and timeless touch to the style of her wedding. I loved the candy table. I was especially a fan of the watermelon sour candies. Yes to that! The little lollipops were obviously a favorite of mine since I photographed them 100 times. I also really like to shoot at The Manor at the Riverwoods. I grew up (as a photographer) in the Riverwoods, so it feels like going home. I love the new renovations done to it, especially putting in a reception hall. So smart. I also like the lower ceilings at The Manor. I'm not saying they're 'low ceilings' but lower than vaulted ceilings at a lot of reception halls. I can bounce my flash off of the ceiling easier. Anywhoo... so much fun and loved every bit of it.
I hope you like these and have all of your family and friends comment on this post. In fact, WHY doesn't anyone comment on my posts! Is anyone out there? Bueller? Bueller?
I found some flowers, so I made the most of it!
I love this shot! It's just so funny.
A tip of the hat from Grandpa. This is a 30 year tradition in the Furr family. Grandpa waits until the bride and groom leave the temple and he drives them away in this fabulous Rolls Royce. Um, can I have it?
I asked for someone to take down Merilee's bustle and everyone went to her aid. It felt like everyone had their eyes back there. It was hilarious!
Do you love it? YES!
It was a fight to get them to kiss Merilee on her cheeks. I LOVE their reactions right after it. The jumped back so far that they went out of the shot.
Of course I had to be a part of just one shot. I was there too...
