Emir and Aleesa

I loved this! To get into the dress they suggested that she "dive" into it.

This was their reaction to all of the groomsmen picking up Emir. It never gets old! I love it!

Emir is from Croatia, and his parents were not able to make it to the wedding, so they set up a lap top right next to where they stood so that they could still be a part of the wedding.

Emir and Aleesa chose a beautiful location for their wedding. The Homestead Resort in Midway is now on my list of absolute favorite venues to photograph. I just can't say enough about it. I loved that there was an outdoor and indoor option, as well as the fact that the ceremony, dinner, and reception were all in different places. So there was no need to "flip" or "turnover" a room. I loved all of the details that Aleesa thought of. From her handkerchief to the floral arrangements. She did a fantastic job... I mean... she hired me as her photographer, so she definitely got that right. :)
Greg and I both shot at this event, so our photos are mingled in. I actually can't remember who shot what shots. In this case it was SO important to have a second photographer to get that second angle at this wedding. There is so much going on at once that having two camera's shooting at once is a necessity.
I actually went to high school with Aleesa. I never knew her because she graduated in 2003 I think or 2004. Anyway, GO TIGERS!
Thank you so much Emir and Aleesa. I hope you love and cherish these images. You're the best!
