Ashley

This is Ashley's third photo session with me. She's getting so big! And I am in love with her arms!!! If you could have seen us during this shoot you would have laughed. It was raining when we shot these in my backyard. My husband was holding an umbrella over my head, Jessica (Ashley's Mom) was holding an umbrella over her head, and then Ellie (my daughter) was running everywhere with her umbrella trying to make sure that we were all covered. :) They turned out absolutely adorable!

So I'm going to try something new. Instead of just talking about the photo session I'm going to give a tid bit of advice in each blog.
I know that there are a lot of people out there that are looking at my blog but apparently don't know how to leave comments, so I'm going to tempt you by offering some of my expertise on each blog. If you start to comment then I'll leave more! So HA! Now you have to comment! All of you photography enthusiasts who are stealing my good ideas and taking them for your own... I know you want a piece of my head, so here's your opportunity.

For this session I used my 24 - 85 lens. I kept my F stop at the smallest. So 3.2 when I was at 24 mm, and 4 if I zoomed all the way out. The key to photographing babies and children is a high shutter speed. That way you can snap snap snap and get a photo that is in focus.
That's one tid bit for now. If I get some comments then I'll write more.

Ok... I'm one of those people that never comment! But basically that's because you don't know me (I found your blog via this girl in my photography class last year who did her photographer report about you). But anyway, I really love your shots and I am hoping to learn new things because I want to be a photography major, but I'm still kind of new to this whole thing. But I love it for sure. :) So I'm so glad that you're giving advice!
