Ashely Oldson is sisters with Sara Oldson (Jordan and Sara). I did their wedding last year and Ashley, Sara, Mom and Me went to the Salt Flats for Sara's bridals. We became really close because we spent so much time in the car together. :) We just had so much fun!
I was SO excited when I found out that Ashley was engaged now, and I was able to do it all over again with another sister.
Ashley's bridal session was definitely an interesting one...
At one point we decided to go a little bit on the wild side and walk on the other side of the red velvet rope in the State Capitol to shoot a couple of shots on an antique gorgeous purple couch. Within about 5 minutes security was on the scene. These security officers were actually quite terrifying. One of the officers told me that I was going to get fined for tresspassing and that they would have someone come and inspect the area that we were in and if there was anything wrong with it that I would have to pay for it. In my opinion he was a little out of control and overboard when he was talking to us. I finally was able to talk to him to calm him down and we all went on our merry way without getting any fines. I definitely did not forsee that happening.
Then we went to the Flower Patch so that we could get the yellow wall for Ashley (one of her colors is yellow). We started shooting and a really really nice yellow car pulled up. I feel like a nerdo not knowing what kind of car it was, so if anyone knows, feel free to comment.
I asked the owner if we could use it for a couple shots. He was super duper nice and let us shoot a ton of shots with it. It turns out that he was on his way into the Flower Patch to buy some flowers to propose to his girlfriend the next day. So, if you're out there, and still in need of a ridiculously amazing photographer, then call or email me and I'll give you a killer deal.
Lots happened at this shoot, but for some reason it didn't surprise me. The Oldson Family is just always too much fun. Thanks ladies!!!!!
